rotated pictures

i use primopdf to convert word97 pages including graphics.
however some of the pictures appear in pdf rotated by 90 deg.
what is rthe reason and how to prevent this?

I am having rotate problems too but in Autocad. all my drawings are rotating 90 degrees(vertical).....I don't seem to be able to define this before I create the pdf.

can someone help us understand how to define in advance how to rotate the pdf once it is created??
