Converting Half-Page Word docs

I am trying to convert a series of half-page (8.5" wide x 5.5 " long). The conversion goes smoothly, except the PDF shows each half page as a full 8.5" x 11" page. How do I get the PDF pages to be 8.5" x 5.5" as my printer requires?

when you print to the primo pdf printer, select preferences/advanced and choose the size you want. if that size is not available, then you will need to create a custom paper size.
