I've installed PrimoPDF on a Workstation running XP Pro SP1. I've given "everyone" full control of the following directories;

C:\program files\activepdf
C:\program files\adobe
C:\windows

Including all subdirectories.
Disabled "Use Simple File Sharing"

I've also made the registry change that was made in one of the other posts.

Still the only way this will work is if the user is a member of the Local Administrators group. An option I don't like.

Any other suggestions? Got a great little program but I can't make everyone local administrators.

You're going to need permission for the Spool directory, the sys32 directory, and any output directory as well.

It should work for any user. You can pin down permission issues like this using a program called filemon which is free from www.sysinternals.com

Monitor the Primorun.exe, and primopdf.exe processes and check for access failures. Change the permissions when those failures occure and you will be on the right track.
