unable to install printer primopdf - primoport: - primopdf : (1797)

i keep trying to install primopdf ver 3.1 on my computer running windows xp on a fat 32 file system and am having problems. I keep getting the same error (message unable to install printer primopdf - primoport: - primopdf : (1797)). Any thought how to get past this. I have primo pdf on my other computers but did not have any problems installing them. Both windows xp on an NTSF system.

Ah... what wonderful support. It's been over 2 weeks and no reply to attempt to help. I've got the same error.

I had a same error message.
#but my PC was windows xp(NTFS).

I added primo printer by myself,and I could use primoPDF.

1.Open Control Panel -> Chose Printer and Fax
2.Chose local printer (chek off [Plag and Play~])
3.Chose Primoport
4.Chose Printer (ex.Xerox Regal with Splash RIP #anything OK)
5.Name Printer (ex.primoPDF)

You can confirm primoPDF in your printer.

The realy reason may be your PC's "Print Spooler" Service is 'disable' or 'stop',you can start it and change it to "auto"

The new thread "You must uninstal..." may help with this problem. It did for me.
