Using an HP Pavilion Vista 64 Computer

When attempting to install PrimoPDF, near the end of the installation I get the error message:

"Unable to install printer PrimoPDF - PrimoPort - PrimoPDF: (1797),"

I'm running the installation as an administrator and all users have all priveleges.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I was very happy with PrimoPdf earlier this year. I have a HP pavilion dv4 with Vista 64. In June, my hard disk crashed and I had to purchase a replacement.

Ever since then, I can not get the PrimoPdf 4.1 to work.

When I print to PrimoPdf, I have seen three errors:
1) "Spooler Subsystem App stopped working and was closed" - occurs most often
2) "pdf creation failed: -18" - occurs each time
3) "UNC path should be of the form \\server\share" - I only noticed this a few times.

I have looked on this forum and tried a few fixes noted within.
I have tried to uninstall and reinstall several times.
I have go so far as to delete the "PrimoPdf printer", uninstall Adobe Acrobate and PrimoPdf and reinstall first Adobe, then PrimoPdf.

I love PrimoPdf and would even spend the $100 for the NitroPDF professional, if that would work, but my trust is really shaken.

Please help me!

Please note, I am not an IT professional, just a frustrated user, so if you have an answer, please make it clear to a computer novice.

Thanks
