Install Isue V4.1 on XP

Hi, I used Windows to uninstal v3 before installing v4. I download the installation file, and about 2/3 of the way through, I get an error message:

Unable to install printer PrimoPdf - PrimoPort: -PrimoPDF: (1797),

Can you please help?

Try this solution:

Error 1797 (Printer driver not known) – This is usually because the printer driver failed to be installed.
a. (64-Bit) Delete the content of "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\x64"
and reinstall PrimoPDF
b. (32-Bit) Delete the content of "C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\drivers\W32X86" and reinstall PrimoPDF
c. If the above doesn’t resolve the issue, please take the following steps :
i. Navigate to C:\Program Files\Nitro PDF\PrimoPDF
ii. Run PrimDel.exe (this will delete printer and removed drivers)
iii. Run PrimInst.exe (this will reinstall printer and drivers)
iv. If this fails, please post the info in the PrimInstInfo.txt file located in the PrimoPDF directory so I can take a look at it.
