I have used PRIMOPDF for some time, but I recently reformatted my laptop, [Windows Vista Pro], and re-installed PRIMOPDF, but now it doesnt work properly, and I get an error message when sending a document from Office 2007, telling me that ADOBE READER 8.1 has stopped working, and recommends ugrading to latest version, which I subsequently did. I successfully installed the latest version of ADOBE READER 9.1., however I still get the same error message.

Has anyone got any suggestions as I have spent hours trying to sort this out!!!

Thanks in anticipation of help

Rod

I used a word document of my CV (Resume) to test this little gem. PrimoPDF is installed as a printer, so it's just a case of 'File/Print' and selecting the PrimoPDF device as the printer. In the case of my CV, it took just a couple of seconds to convert.

The security is easy to set as well. I just set a password that stopped the text from being modified. That said, there are some tools available that can crack Passworded PDFs, but that's a limitation of the PDF format and not of this very excellent utility.
