Related to the classification of a day as a specific calendar date is the format used to express that date. The differing formats of dates are an example of endianness. Even for a specific calendar system, different formats are used. For example, the following formats all express the same date in the Gregorian calendar.

Hi,

It would be great if you could support the standard IS0 8601 date format YYYY-MM-DD. This is also the official date format in Sweden.

Thanks,

Not every year that is divisible by 4 is a leap year. There are other conditions. Here's the complete list:

1. Every year that is evenly divisible by four is a leap year;
2. of those years, if it can be evenly divided by 100, it is NOT a leap year, unless
3. the year is evenly divisible by 400. Then it is a leap year.
