I've read many stellar reviews of PrimoPDF and would like to install it, but have noticed a few reviews that mention that the program requires active internet access. Does anyone know why? I'm rather hesistant to use this software (great as it sounds like it is) until I know why active internet access is required.

Does this have anything to do with why registration is no longer required?

Thanks in advance,

Dan

The only reason that I have found so far for the PrimoPDF to access the internet is to refresh the splash advertisement on the print control panel when it pops up. This is a nuisance to me since my internet access requires that I enter a user name and password for each internet access. If there was a way to turn this off, that would be a big relief. For this reason, I have stayed with version 2.0 instead of moving up to 3.1. If the internet access could be made optional in the next update, I would upgrade.
