When we convert a Word doc containing links into a PrimoPDF the links stop working. They still look like links (underlined in blue), but they're not clickable.
I've searched Primo's manual, and this forum, but can't find an answer to this. Can anyone help?
Many thanks,
Paul

Sorry, PrimoPDF does not support the creation of hyperlinks in a PDF file.
However, it is likely it will provide the color and underline because they are text characteristics. Reader may recognized the text as having the format of a link (www.anylink.isp) and provide the action of the link, but it is not an actual hyperlink as implemented in a Web page.

For example, in the following text, I created three hyperlinks, the first two work, because of their format is recognized by Reader, the third doesn't work because the HREF behind the text was removed during the conversion to PDF.
This is a link, http://www.activepdf.com, and so is this, www.activepdf.com, and this, click here, is just text.
Because of this limitation, the workaround is to use the actual URL.

Thanks Lance. In that case I'll just leave them as full links.
Is it possible to hide my email address (the 'magneto' one) in these posts to avoid spambots harvesting it?
thanks,
paul
