Errors with PortInstall.exe

Hi!

When I run PortInstall.exe I get this output:

Add Print Processor Err: 3005
Add Port Monitor Err: 3006
Source: C:\Programme\activePDF\PrimoPDF\Dependents\pscript 5.dll
Dest: C:\WINDOWS\System32\spool\DRIVERS\W32X86\pscript5. dll
Copy Files: 80

The effect is that the pdfs created by PrimoPDF are blank documents.

Any thoughts?

how did you get that information?

I ran that program and the DOS window opened and closed so fast that even with my finger on the print screen button, I wasn't able to capture the window

The easiest way to get that information is to follow these steps:

1. Click Start -> Run
2. Type "CMD" (no quotes)
3. Type "CD pro*\active*\pri*" and hit enter. (* is a wildcard, you can type out the whole directory if desired)

You can also execute the program by typing in the whole path instead of changing directories. (i.e. C:\program files\activepdf\primopdf\portinstall.exe)

4. Type "portinstall.exe" and hit enter.

This will display all the information.

5. Right click on the command prompt window and select "Mark" and then highlight the text that you want to copy.
6. Hit "Enter" to copy the text to the clipboard.
