Hi, I've just installed and tried Primo PDF, the print function goes ahead, but when i revies the final PDF document, some images contained within the document are corrupted, they appear to be doubled and overlayed. The rest of the document is OK (Text layout, page breaks etc.), but I cannot get this right - any ideas??

Regards,
S

The usual issue with converted images is the poor quality of the image because of the low resolution choosen. This can be due to the low resolution of the original file (72dpi looks great on the screen, but poorly printed) or by changing to a different resolution of PDF (going from Screen to Prepress).

But the description of the problem indicates that the image is corrupted. If you could forward an example image for evaluation, it will be review.

I tried many times- It is not converting WSP, or Microsoft word documents. When I press open with PDF- the message- PDF can't open in this format. So, is the PDF(primo, or 3.2) only working with PDF files?!:(
Any suggestions will appreciate. Thx

It is not clear the steps you're using to convert a document, but process is opening the docment with the associated application, print to PrimoPDF, click OK in the options popup, and a PDF is produced. In auto-launch mode, PrimoPDF will then attempt to open the PDF with your default PDF reader. We suggest you use Adobe Reader since it is the de facto standard and other Reader may not follow the PDF specifications.

Typically, the dependency for document compatibility is with the associated application's ability to open and print the document and not PrimoPDF. One of the most frequently used applications with PrimoPDF is Word which has proven to be reliable and compatible combination for years.

What Reader are your using to open the PDF?

Hi,

I think you can try a utility called Advanced PDF Repair to repair your PDF file. It works rather well for my corrupt PDF files. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/

Hope this helps.
