Merging 2 pdfs

I noticed that 3.1 claims a merger function so I upgraded from 3.0 to 3.1. But the user manual is the same and says nothing about merging. I basically have a pdf that I want to write an intro to and then make it one file. Can I do that in 3.1? Thanks much

PrimoPDF 3.1 Append function is enabled by starting a conversion, and when the Conversion Options window is displayed:
- Click on the Options button
- Select Append in the Conversion Options
- Click OK
- Enter the path and name of the file to append to
- Click OK
- You will get a warning and asked to confirm the Append
- Click OK

I have great success using another free program that is designed for merging an unlimited number of PDFs in any order you select. It is called PDFBlender and can be found at

Previous versions of PrimoPDF did have a problem appending files when done from scanned in images. This issue is resolved in version 4.0.
