Hi, i just installed PrimoPDF and i got absolutely no errors or problems. I also got a messager that installation was succesful.

The only problem is that there is no pdf printer available. I logged as an Administrator of the local machine, followed all the steps of the installer, uninstalled completely, reboot (just to be sure) installed again and i had the same problem, no errors but no printer.

I use Windows XP pro with SP2.

Can you help me with this problem ?

Thank you

Do you already know how to solve it?

Hi Oliver ....

I have almost the same hardware (XP, SP1, etc). After installation, I can't find the Primo PDF Writer in the lis of available printers. I've used Adobe Writer before, so I'm familiar how Primo should work.

regards,

Roy

My mother tongue is Japanese.
I'm sorry that I cannot use English fluently.
------------------------------------------

My personal computer had same problem.

But this document (http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;319114) solved it.

In my case, because the Windows Path environment variable in my personal computer had no semi colons, the problem happened.

There should be a semi colon between a path and another path.

e.g.

"C:\Perl\bin%SystemRoot%\system32%SystemRoot%%Syste mRoot%\System32\Wbem" is incorrect,
but "C:\Perl\bin;%SystemRoot%\system32;%SystemRoot%;%Sy stemRoot%\System32\Wbem" is correct.

I installed the primoPDF after editing the variable and rebooting.

Then there was not the problem.

My Personal Computer Information:
OS: Microsoft Windows XP Home edition with SP2
Language: Japanese
