Hi. There are a few other people on the net having the exact same problem as I do, though I remember having it already something less than a year.
This one adobe.com (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/webforums/forum/messageview.cfm?forumid=17&catid=199&threadid=1306154&enterthread=y) (posted and indexed by other forums) for example says Ghostscript was the problem. His problem affected the 'export' option among other things, though. My installation doesn't have them.
This thread foros.emagister.com (http://foros.emagister.com/tema-imprimir_a_pdf_desde_freehand_mx-12921-372254.htm) also posted recently is in spanish and it says Prodea asks for help and the answer is to reinstall Freehand MX, clear the temporary files and the user configuration. Believe it or not, I have tried this advice and it worked. For one print/copy :). Maybe there's some file that gets created and has 'Read-only' flags set so that it can't get overwritten. Still haven't checked. Will do after this post.
I also ran across a turkish forum. Fortunately there was 'Freehand MX' and 'read or write' written in english and about 8 answers but the rest of it was turkish.
I am aware that this is not a PrimoPDF malfunction, I've just hoped someone familiar with PrimoPDF's code (or even the developer, should he be active in this forum) could take a look at PrimoPDF's error log and maybe discover something odd. tripod.com (http://dreamcase0.tripod.com/primopdf.html)
It also happens with FreePDF XP and novaPDF Professional. At the moment I have all PDF printing software deinstalled apart from PrimoPDF. I have two machines. One's running with Dell's Media Center Edition Windows (MUI) and the other one is a desktop (spanish retail xp version). They both have the same software installed, most of it; Ghostscript was installed, now deinstalled (on both).
For now this is it. Hope someone can help.
Thanks for reading.
