Dear All,

As many of you, I have just encountered the "1802" error (not able to add PrimPDF port), while trying to install v. 3.2.

Here's however the difference: my installation attempted to UPDATE the version on the PC from 3.1 to 3.2 (not a new install); clearly, a PrimoPDF WAS there already (from v. 3.1), but this is the way things SHOULD be (and there has never been a problem with this through all previous updates/ upgrades, starting with v. 2.x).

After the installation process ended (with the error above), I tried to use PrimoPDF: it worked OK, albeit showing v. 3.1 ... (previous version).

Any ideas as to how to get this issue through?

Thanks in advance for any advice you may provide,

Sincerely,

Eric

Same exact situation, 32bit windows vista os, also shows 3.1 in printer driver, should we try to remove the printer and re-install?

Please uninstall the previous version of PrimoPDF before installing the new version.

I have the same problem. In fact, I've always had this problem. I uninstalled the old version, deleted any left over files/folder, did a clean install and when I use the software it is still the previous version. The only way I can get the new versions to install is if I install it on a new computer or format my hard drive.
