At first new framework didin't install when I started installing PrimoPDF so I downloaded 2.0 net framework, installed it properly and the PrimoPDF installed properly. I set up the PrimoPDF driver as Sony because I want to convert magazine pdf files into readable pdf files on my Sony PRS-500 ereader.

How do I get rid of -21 error.

Thanks

PrimoPDF is intended to be used with the driver with which it was installed and is not to be used with other printer drivers.

PrimoPDF is intended to generate a PDF which is a faithful rendition of the file as it appears in the original application that generated it (WYSIWYG). The device that displays the resultant PDF needs to be able to display PDF formated files and in the form factor for which the file intended. It would be better to render the file to RTF which will allow the text to word wrap to fit the display limits as oppose to getting the display to deal with a PDF that keeps everything nailed in place on a 8.5x11 "page".

Lance,

How do I render a pdf file into a rtf file and what do I do with the rtf file, use primoPDF to make a e-book pdf file ?

Thanks

I run a couple of web sites, and when I receive an announcement or flyer as a large PDF I need to shrink them to 75 dpi size for downloading convenience before I post them.

So I've tried -- many times -- to convert them using PrimoPDF as my 'printer'. But I always get error "failed -21" when a PDF is the source document. And I don't see any corresponding log file in the program directory.

Is there a workaround or something for this?
