Error attempting to open encrypted pdf in Thunderbird

When we try to open a pdf encrypted with Primo and emailed to a Thunderbird user, they get an error message saying that they are unable to open the encrypted file. Works fine with Outlook Express. Any ideas?

Once the PDF file is produced by PrimoPDF, it is out of PrimoPDF's hands and it cannot prevent any changes to the PDF afterwards. It would appear when Thunderbird is transferring attached files, it is changing them while Outlook is not.

I think the problem can also be caused by corruption of pdf files when email. May you need to try a utility called Advanced PDF Repair to repair the PDF file. Its web address is http://www.datanumen.com/apdfr/
