Ghosted & Wrapped image in Bitmap using output type Screen

Today I output a purchase order to PDF that contains my signature and when viewed in Acrobat Reader there was a ghost/shadowed/duplicated signature beneath my signature and it was wrapped round and not a direct shadow of my signature. The pdf created took the default options ; one of which is output for Screen.

When I changed the output type to Print the resulting PDF did not have the ghosted signature.

Is this a bug?
