PDF Creation Failed -21

What does this mean, and how do you fix it?

I have a pdf file open in Acrobat 8.1.2 and have primopdf setup as a printer.
When I try to print to primopdf I get the -21 error.

Any ideas?

please post a link to the file if possible and a full description of the error (screenshot prefered). In order to get more information on the error you could turn on the debugging (in the options button). The log file should be found in C:\Program Files\activepdf\PrimoPDF. The filename will be labled with the name of the file you converted along with "_conversion.log" attached to the end.

Redistilling encrypted PDF is not permitted - is that what is causing my error 21?

That certainly looks like the problem. You can not process the file because it is encrypted. You would need to decrypt the file prior to processing it.
