This is a known issue that we are currently still working on. If you could please provide us a link to the page/file you are experiencing this problem with it would help us in our troubleshooting.

I've encountered same problem. but since I am from Taiwan and use chinese traditional characters in my NB, I guess that's the problem.
The original file name was chinese. After renaming my filename that needs to be transferred to PDF file to english and numbers only, it worked.
Is there any way that primo support chinese filename? Thanks.

We are working on the issue and it will be resolved in a future release. In the mean time you could try using the previous version 3.2 which can be found at the link below...

I also had that problem as I upgraded primo and found that when I'm in a website and want to make the content pdf it said it had "illegal characters" and wouldn't convert the site. I'll test it with other websites and see if it happens consistently.

do you have a time for the future release? deciding whether to go back to the old primo or not?

Rather than get the old version of primopdf to be able to get my credit card statements, I was able to load a similar software called doPDF Free PDF Converter 6.1.27. It is a more simple program and you can have both doPDF and primopfd on your system at the same time. This article is a comparison between the two programs and what gave me the idea http://www.download.com/8301-2007_4-9890574-12.html?tag=mncol
just click on doPDF in the article to be sent to the current version.
doPDF was able to print my statements without any problem and I still have the most recent version of primo to use for everything else. Hopefully they will fix this issue in primo eventually, but until then this is a very good solution for me.

I fixed this error by getting the latest version of PrimoPDF: v4.1.0.11 as of today (June 22, 2009).
Remember to uninstall the current version you have, then install the latest version. No reboot required :)
