What font type are you using? We currently have an issue where Type1 fonts will not work and would result in a blank text where ever that font type is used.

Another possible cause would be if PrimoPDF didn't have access to read or write the postscript file, it would then create a "zero" byte file, which would be a blank file. In order to resolve this issue please very that "everyone" has full access to the "C:\Windows\Temp" directory.

thanks for the quick reply!

"Everyone" has Full access to C:\WINNT\Temp

The file is completely blank... not just font but pictures and everything.

any other ideas?

There is one other location which needs access that you should check...

C:\Program Files\activePDF\PrimoPDF

Give "Everyone" full access to this folder as well and see if that resolves your problem.

Those are the only two locations that need full access. If you are still having problems with it you can post a link for me to download the original file and I can run some quick tests on it to see if it's an issue with the file.

Do you have a link to the original file before it is converted?

Are you using an english version of Windows or are you using a version for a different language?

If using a foreign language we have found previously that there was an issue with the install shield installing under the correct path. If this is the case we will simply need to copy and paste the files (do not remove the originals) into the correct location and it should work at that point.

create the folder "c:\Program Files" and copy the entire ActivePDF directory to this directory. You will also need to update the printer for PrimoPDF and change the configuration to point to the files in the Program Files directory and not the Programme directory.

It may very well. Try running it on a local server and see how it runs for you. I don't know that we have specifically associated a blank PDF with Terminal Services, but there have been other issues related to the use of Terminal Services.
