Issue when converting document with faded images from MS Word

Hi,

I have a MS Word (*.doc) document with an image which has been faded into 50% transparency. After I convert it into PDF using PrimoPDF, there is a 100% visible image instead of faded one.

I checked the same document in OpenOffice Writer, both its internal PDF converter and PrimoPDF produce proper PDF with faded image. Document was not converted into OpenOffice format before printing, it was still the same *.doc file.

Tested it on MS Word 2003 and 2007.

When you open the file in Microsoft Word and view the file with Print Preview does it display the transparency?
