no compression

i am printing a file using the "screen setting which is suposed to compress fotos. I have a 33 mb file that ends up as an 82 mb pdf???? how is this possible???

Try decreasing the quality of the file to see if that lowers to size.

I tired that but i keep getting pdf files that are larger than the original word file and i need to compress them to send them??
