Version 4.0.2
I want to be able to print by typing the path and filename into Save As in the print dialog box and then just press <enter> to print.
I know this used to work in previous versions.
In 4.0.2 I have to click on the Create PDF button to print.

As long as the control on the Interface has focus when you press enter it will work properly.
Make sure you have tabbed to the correct control.

I have tried this multiple times and it does not work for me.
My cursor is in the "Save As" field. I either type in or paste a path and filename into this textbox and press enter. This should create my PDF. It does not. I'm in the textbox on your control so the control definately has focus. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this version on my computer and it still does not work. I've also installed on another machine that did not have a previous version of PrimoPDF on it and I have the same results.
Ahh – I think what you're saying I have to tab to the "Create PDF" button and then press enter. Yes this works but this is different behavior than in previous versions and more of a pain than just clicking the button. I should be able to and used be able to press <enter> and print directly from the textbox. This is standard windows user interface semantics. If I open a "Save As" dialog box in any standard windows program. I can type in my filename and press <enter> to create the file. I an not REQUIRED to click on the "Save" button to create my file.
Can anyone else verify whether they are having the same problem?
Thanks

I agree that it does not work as a normal Windows Dialog Should.
Some points.
1) You have to tab to the Create PDF button - Windows standard dialogs should accept the default button regardless where the focus is !
2) When you click into the Save-As field to type your file name the existing text is not highlighted - again like just about all windows program do.
( Best thing to do is Tab then Shift Tab then it gets highlighted )
3) Control + A - ( standard windows select all shortcut key ) does not work.
( So you have to Home >> Shift + End, to highlight - or use the mouse before typing )
4) And yes the dialog length should be expanded to accomodate typical long folder/file names...
