I print a Microsoft publisher file and direct it to the PrimoPDF converter and then print again to my normal printer to print and it prints 4 copies. Anyone got any ideas?

When do you get 4 copies, is it when you print the hard copy?. If so then you may have to check the number of copies to print.

For some reason when I check the printer settings for printing to my normal printer it defaults to letter paper. If I change it to A4 it will print just one page ok. If I then create a PDF it changes the printer back to letter and prints four copies again.
I just have to remember to reset the paper size before printing the document.

It is very wasteful of toner and paper.

There are some Printer settings in the Group Policy Editor that you might want to take a look at.

RUN>gpedit.msc

Look in the Computer Configuration>Administrative Templates>Printers directory. There is a setting for "Allow Print Spooler to accept client connections" that you might want to "Disable". I don't know if that particular settings change will solve your problem. Maybe some of those other settings may help in some way too.
