Primo does not OPEN files of other types from its start up screen, it only OPENS pdf's--One has to, as they say in DIRECTIONS, "open the file with the AUTHORING PROGRAM" (in my case, Word for biz cards & Nero for pix) and then hit PRINT and then pick PRIMO as your PRINTER in the printing pop up dialogue box when ready to "print" into a pdf, rather than actually printing it, voila, you browse a destination & save your file as a pdf. I thought Primo would OPEN any printable file directly into pdf. Guess that would've required a huge program, to open EVERY type of printable file. Duh.
