We are working on a peer to peer network, and at first, all PDFs were created on the host computer. The other computers on the network received the following error when trying to open a particualr set of PDF documents: "There was an error opening this document. Access denied."
Following is what we do know / have tried:
- The computer that cannot open the files is able to create a PDF, but then unable to open it, receiving the above error.
- PDF files created in the fall of 2008 (on any computer) can be opened, but not PDfs created in 2009. (Primo PDF was used to create all the files)
- Other files in the same folder as the PDF can be openend, modified, and saved (Word and Excel files). The problem seems to only be with the PDF files.
We have tried everything we know - any help is most appreciated!!!
