PrimoPDF works great for my while beeing logged on as a user with admin-rights. As Non-Admin-User it creates files, containing nothing (0 Byte).

Check http://forums.primopdf.com/showthread.php?t=248 to resolve the issue

Thanks for the link. I tried to follow the hints in this tread (I am from Austria and my english isn't really good - a translation to german would help).

- In regedit I gave Full Control to User in HKLM\SOFTWARE\Activepdf.

- I installed the "Solution"-files from cgrosvenor.

But now:

When using PrimoPDF, logged on without admin-rights, I get pdfs with the last PrimoPDF-Print I did with the Admin-User.

There is a file Temp.ps in C:\Programme\PrimoPDF. This file only changes when using Admin-User.

It is not very user-friendly to make changes in regedit etc, so when comes a bugfix for this?

Great software!

It works well for admin users, but we don't give ordinary users admin rights or write priveleges over anything in Program Files or the HKLM. I suggest that document properties and security settings, especially the path to the output folder, be kept in HKCU (or let the HKCU value take precedence over the HKLM value). Also, it would be nice if the Temp.ps file was written to %TEMP% or somewhere under %USERPROFILE%; even better if we could set that in a HKCU reg key.

Keep up the good work!

I think this is going to be just about essential for corporate users. Is there any indication from the developers as to when/if this issue will be resolved? I belive this is also a requirement for XP logo certification, is it not?

1st: I de-installed PrimoPDF
2nd: I re-installed it but not to c:\programs but to common-files-folder.
3rd: changed primorun.exe to the file from http://www.cgrosvenor.co.uk/primorun.zip
