I created a PDF using Primo PDF 2.0 from an application called Serif PagePlus v9.
The output displays well in Acrobat reader, but when the job was RIPed fonts were damaged and corrupted, and transparent areas were also unusable.
The technician at the service bureau says I should have converted the fonts to curves prior, because the fonts weren't properly inserted into PDF, or that I should have optioned the the PDF creation program to include all aspects of the fonts?????
PrimoPDF files vannot be read in (Placed) into Pagemaker 6.5 the application closes down. (Occurs on my system and that of my service Bureau. Photoshop also does not display the RrimoPDF file correctly.
