When the dialog box appears, the last directory and job filename appears in an edit box. The name of the directory may be very long and the filename too. But the editbox size is not enough.

Could you offer an editbox for the directory and one for the filename ?

the default directory is changed only if you used the Selected button.
I put a path written directly without passing with the button, and the pdf job was at the good place. But, the next time, the directory return to the previous directory.

P.S.
After a lot of test, the job filename is always cut. You cut the 4 last charaters (Maybe you consider ".pdf" in the name). I have too put some 4 extra characters "xxxx" when i produced the Report name to "compensing". It's better than a lot of other products than they cuts often a long filename including "Adobe Acrobat 7". PrimoPdf doesn't cut very long filename (but the las 4 characters).

Thank you

When I create a pdf out of Quickbooks, I just want to name it with the invoice number, like "12345.pdf".

It presents me with this long path which I have to scroll to the end of, I have to delete the default "intuit.pdf" and type in the invoice number. If I just type "12345" it creates a file without the .pdf suffix.

I understand that I will have to give it a name, but I'd like to just "CTRL-A" to select all and type "12345", then it would create the necessary file.

Like the other poster, I'd suggest separating the filename and the path, then allow the user to type in the filename and have the program automatically append ".pdf" and put it in the same folder. Make sense?
