Before installing PrimoPDF, I read:
<<When prompted for a destination, navigate to your desktop and click OK.
On the desktop, double-click the file named PrimoSetup.exe. 4 .Follow the instructions on the screen to complete the installation. >>
During the install process, I never received this "destination" request. The only icon to appear on my desktop was a Word document that said Launch PrimoPDF Instructions.
When I opened these instructions, all I saw is gobblediegook (looks like greek or mars lingo with a smattering of english). Completely unreadable.
If I go to any document or file and click "print", I do see the option for the Primo setting. I select that and pick a destination etc., and it is copied to that location. When I go to open that newly saved pdf file, I get a new window that says "choose conversion" The choices are many from chinese to european etc. Any choice simply gives further gobblediegook. If I pick any and open the file then more gobblediegook.
Two hours now. Uninstall, reinstall, frustration. Going to bed.
Using Windows 98, please help
