PRINTING LARGER THAN 8.5x11 SHEETS

Does anyone know how to set up the PDF printer to print sheet sizes larger than 8.5x11? I'm trying to get my own business going, but I do not have a larger printer at home, so I have to convert the files to PDF to take them somewhere else to print. If anyone can help me please respond. I'd like to go up to at least 24x36 sheets. Thanks.

P.S. I know Adobe can do it, but I do not have the money to go and pay for the software. Thanks again.

You can make larger pdf's with the custom postscriptpaper size in the advanced settings under properties (Win XP)
