The server that answers the registration screen was taken down which I will look into getting put back up just so less people experience problems.

HOWEVER

To completely remove the screen, follow these steps:

1. Start->Run

2. Type "Regedit"

3. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\activePDF\PrimoPDF

4. Right click the key and choose New->Key

5. Name the key "Verified"

That's it! Close Regedit and you're done, the reg screen should no longer appear.

I have the dreaded registration screen AND the prescribed registry key. Now what?

Ok. Wait a minute. The key was added to ActivePDF not PrimoPDF.
Shoot the IS guy! -> - - -

My new key verified appears as a folder under Primopdf.
Is that where it should appear?

Now when I tried to do the "run" regedit it says the application will not initialize! What did I do wrong??? :(

By following the instructions, I ended up with a folder called "Verified" inside the PrimoPDF folder. But the registration screen is still there. Maybe I am not correct in understanding what "key" I should right-click on. I just right-clicked on the PrimoPDF folder.

I believe the end result is you should see under this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\activePDF\PrimoPDF

There is a folder (a key) called "Verified", ie : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\activePDF\PrimoPDF\Ver ified

Then close the registry window.

I saw/see that, but it did not work then. I had to shut down my computer for it to disappear. Of course, if it prevents the registration screen from appearing from then on, then it works.
