What does "prepress" mean? I couldn't find a definition in the "user guide". I just loaded v. 2. I had been using the previous version and found that selecting "prepress" and selecting "print" version both gave me the same size PDF file. Both are about 10% larger than the PDF from v. 1.

****o, Prepress is a graphic arts and printing industry term. Prepress is used to describe all the activities and tasks required to get a print job ready for press. In the old days, that meant paste-up, litho camera, film stripping, burning metal plates to hang on a press. These days it's all evolved to digital imaging using desktop publishing and scanning instead of paste up. Designs are conveyed electronically to inkjet proofers for approval. Then finally files are imaged onto the metal printing plates by a high powered 2400 dpi laser, called CTP (computer to plate) technology. Thesae files are saved and transferred in very high quality PDF files.
