:) Very good software and easy to install and use, much appreciate and thanks! :)

Should be: Page 1 of 21; page 2 of 21; .... Page 21 of 21
Result: Page 1 of 1; Page 2 of 2; ....... Page 21 of 21

Environment:
Windows 2000 V5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 4
Word 2000 (9.0.6615) - Paper size: Letter; Page X of Y in footer
Acorbat Reader 7.0
There is some pictures insert in the Word document - GIF and JPEG format.

Hi,

I'm new to PrimoPDF and I'm having a problem when converting Word documents with page numbers in the footer. The Word document displays "Page 1 of 8", 2 of 8, 3 of 8, etc. Upon conversion, the PDF displays "Page 1 of 1", 2 of 2, 3 of 3, etc.

This appears to have been a known bug in 2006. Is there a patch or a workaround? I have had to remove my page numbers from the footers to get my documents converted and published but I would like to put the page numbers back in if possible.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

What version of PrimoPDF are you running?

I think that this issue is related to Microsoft Word itself not PrimoPDF because I saw this problem when printing documents from Word directly to real printers not PrimoPDF virtual printer.

PrimoPDF just creates PDF according to content given by Microsoft Word. If Word gives "Page 1 of 1", "Page 2 of 2", then PrimoPDF can only create such a document.

Hi,

I think I am using version 4.1 (that's what the manual says - how would I check the actual version?)

As far as the problem being caused my Microsoft Word, I don't think that is the issue. If I print the document to my printer, it prints the right page numbers (1 of 3, 2 of 3, 3 of 3). If I print the document to PrimoPDF, it prints the wrong page numbers (1 of 1, 2 of 2, 3 of 3).

Does anyone have an update or workaround for this problem?

Thanks so much!

This could be a bug. However, I printed a 23 page document, it was printed correctly. I used MS office 2007.

Thanks for your reply. I am using MS Word 2000. Is anyone else using Office 2000 and NOT having this problem with page numbers?

Thanks!

I used MS office 2000 as well and got the correct result.
