pdf too short - graphic file?

I was converting a .doc newsletter with test and graphics. It was 13 pages but only 11 would end up in the pdf. The last 2 pages have the graphics - bmp and pcx files. One by one I deleted the graphics until I got all 13 pages. It was one of the pcx files. (Other pcx files seemed OK). I converted the pcx file to a bmp and reinserted it into the .doc. Then I had no problem converting the entire 13 pages.

Any ideas on what my problem was?

[BTW, I just luv primopdf. I edit a newsletter for a charitable org, and now we don't have to go out and buy a converter. And we'll be able to save $ for our charity by emailing many of our newsletters. The download and usage were clear and easy to do.]

The problem with the graphic is most likely because the image couldn't be translated by the ghostscript library. I cannot give you a reason why, but one thing you could check would be to take that image and insert it into a blank document then print it (physically) If the image prints then it is a problem with the ghostscript engine. If it does not then it is a problem with the postscript driver you are using. If this is the case, you can always try installing another postscript driver and simply assigning it the primoport to have it work in conjunction with primo.
