When we print to PrimoPDF from MAS200, primo does not allow us to hit browse to pick the file saving location, It works fine when used from all other Apps.

We are using PrimoPDF version 2.0 and in windows you can browse and choose where you want to save your PDF file, we are also using PrimoPDF in SAP but if you try to use the browse button it does not work and you have to type in the path? It does not matter if you are signed in as a user or an administrator, you always have to type in the path.

This worked ok with SAP in older version of PrimoPDF.

Is there anybody from Primo PDF support looking at this forum?, would love to use your product if it worked right.

I am experiencing this problem with Peachtree, any help would be appreciated.

I am not sure which fixed it, but this is working now. It was either:

1) Logging in with administrator rights or
2) Downloading latest version of Firefox browser and making it default browser.

The path and file naming issues are a killer, making an otherwise great app a real PITA to use. And, yet, this is such simple Windows Programming 101 stuff.

Has anyone found a fix for this yet? My earlier fix did not take. It works when it wants to. :(

I have had many similar issues with primo and I also find it a very usefull product when functioning as we know it can.

A work-around that works for now, curing the not generating PDF issue or sending the file to print was to remove all other installed local and network printers, leaving just the primopdf installed.

How long this will work for I know not, as the primo has proved to be erratic and unpredictable.

Such a shame as the product to me is worthy of a purchase for a fully working supported version.

The new PrimoPDF version 3.0 should fix this issue.

hi all! this is not an awesome fix, but it helped me to get passed the issue we are experiencing. i figured it wasn't bringing up the browse window because it couldn't find the c:// for some reason. just type a folder that you know exists on your machine, i typed c:\program files and it brought up the browse window so i could choose the correct path. let me know if that works for you.
