In File--> Document Properties, my name shows up under Description: Author. How do I delete this to make my pdf anonymous? I can't find any options to suppress this.

For Windows XP...
Open the Control Panel.
Double-click on the "User Accounts" icon.
Click on the "computer administrator" account icon.
Click on "change my name".
Then type in a new name (which could be just one letter, or even "anonymous"!).
This new name will then be the one that appears as the Author on the PDF file.

Nah, scratch that!
Go to Control Panel, and click on "User Accounts".
You'll need to create a new "User Account" using the name you want to appear in the "author" line of the PDF file, e.g. "Anonymous".
Give this new account "computer administrator" rights.
Log off all other users, and log on as the new user ("Anonymous").
Download and install the PrimoPDF files as this user.
Then convert a file to PDF as per usual. The Author should then come up as the User name?

Try this, I think I was having the same problem. When I was coventing a Word file it was making an extra page telling me about the file. This is what I did.
In Word go to "Tools" > "Options"
Under the "Print" tab make sure "Document Properties" is unchecked.

Just the above, but unfortunately it doesn't work!
The only way I have found actually works is by creating a new user account...
go to CONTROL PANEL, double-click USER ACCOUNTS, click on CREATE A NEW ACCOUNT, name the account "anon" or something equally inoccuous, give the new account COMPUTER ADMINISTRATOR rights, then click CREATE ACCOUNT button.
Then click on START and click on LOG OFF, then log on as "anon" (or whatever you've named the new account) and you're good to go!
Any file you now create and save will have the author as "anon".
However, I'm sure someone out there has a quicker and easier solution!
