A couple of questions?

I saw another forum user ask this question but with no answer... but how many users does it take to require a site license to be in licensure?

How much is a terminal server/citrix license to purchase? and are there any requirements here?

I am a private contractor and come accross all sorts of personal and small to medium businesses that could benefit from you product.

Thanks

Mike

As per included EULA, the primoPDF product is covered by the ALADDIN FREE PUBLIC LICENSE. I read through it carefully several times and it clearly does not limit or restrict the use of the software; restrictions only apply to the distribution and changes to the source code. Therefore, it is obvious anyone can use primoPDF in any setting, free of charge. The company may offer, and charge for, support.

Excerpts from the ALADDIN FREE PUBLIC LICENSE: "Distribution of the Program or any work based on the Program by a commercial organization to any third party is prohibited if any payment is made in connection with such distribution, whether directly [...] or indirectly [...] Activities other than copying, distribution and modification of the Program are not subject to this License and they are outside its scope. Functional use (running) of the Program is not restricted, and any output produced through the use of the Program is subject to this license only if its contents constitute a work based on the Program (independent of having been made by running the Program). [...] You may not impose any further restrictions on the recipient's exercise of the rights granted herein."

As the post above states, there are no restrictions on the actual usage however the free version of primo does not have a distributed/silent installer, nor any of the features of the full version which would allow it to function properly in a multi-user environment.
