 When trying to install PrimoPDF on NT4 with the current installer provided, Installation works fine without any error message. After Installation looking into Printers, no Printer for PrimoPdf appears. Looking into registry just an entry named PrimoPort and the entry for Ghostscrip are set. The entry PrimoPort exists without any contents. No monitor or other entrys where found in the registry.
Other Tools like PDF995 or ClickToConvert will install fine.
Is there a issue, cause there is currently no acrobat reader installed on the system?

Reader is not the issue, it's a problem with the API call to create the monitor and register the driver. I'm working on the fix.

Is is possible to register the monitor manually? Can you post here instructions on how this can be done?

I don't have the resources to write up the instructions for this, but if you do some searching, you should find a way to add a printer and a print monitor manually.

I don't know if this goes against the rules of the board or not.. but I just created these quick INF files to use on NT. We started using this today and had the same issue installing on NT. After using these two files I am now able to use the software to create PDFs. I hope someone files this useful.
(EDIT) - INF Files redone.. Should not be any problem with copyright or violation issues. :)

Not exactly against the rules, unless you used a print driver that falls outside open licensing. I'll look it over. If it's incorporateable, I'll do so in the installer.

The zip file is attached to my post above. Are you not able to download? I attempted to email you but your settings prevent other users from sending you emails.

Unfortunately, your uploaded archive is marked as "pending" and requires approval.
I too would like to receive these files as I need to fix my printer settings.
After having installed & removed PrimoPDF on NT4 SP6 a couple of times I can no longer print on my regular printer and I always get the dialogs saying there is no entry point in the DLL.
I believe that you should be able to send me an email, and I would appreciate it greatly if you could send me the archive.
Thanks,
Andrew

Andrew
Installing and unistalling PrimoPDF has completely messed up my PC.
Did these files cure the problems with your printer and the the dialogs saying there is no entry point in the DLL as I have the same problems.

To anyone who has recieved my INF install files. If you were unable to get this to work that is because you need to copy the files into this location C:\Program Files\activePDF\PrimoPDF\Drivers
I am using the normal install files for the installation and chances are if you run them from just any random location you will recieve failed 'file copy/missing' related messages.

Could the Forum administrators or Douglas Saltsman please review the file and make it available for all? The Pending status is sooo frustrating! :(
Thanks,
Andrew

I now have the file. Unfortunately it hasnt helped in my situation. Your Mileage May Vary.
Beginning with an NT system that was already displaying errors with regard to msvcrt.dll, I was not able to use the files to install PrimoPDF.
I tried to manually create a print monitor and tried to select the monitor.inf file, but that did not work either.
Looks like I need to get the machine re-imaged.
Cheers,
Andrew

I've got a fix and an installation workaround listed under another post of 'PrimoPDF install issues on Windows NT'.
I've got it working manually and no DLL problems on NT4 SP6a. So far I know of only 2 DLLs that are scotched by the auto install process, you will need to back them up first or get fresh copies from somewhere.
I couldn't get a reply from RobertS on the e-mail listed. An .INF file approach is better, as long as it works, but my manual setup also works.
