Hi,
here is Gaston from the Netherlands. Ive the followin problem:
Ive created a letterhead in word with no margins (pictures are on the edge of the a4 paper). No when i print in word to my normal printer a canon i560x everything prints out fine. When i use primo to create a pdf it creates around the whole a4 a white margin so my design is mixed up.
Is this normal? Can this be prevented? Maybe i installed the wrong driver?
Please help,
Thank you,
Gaston

Hi Douglas,
I read this post but i dont want to create another custom paper size, i just want to print on a normal A4 size, i set this paper size in the printer options, but it prints with white margins...
maybe i installed the wrong driver? the apple 660/ .. ps
or do i still have to change the PPD file?

I understand now.
The problem is that there aren't many printers that will print with no margin, you would have to install a printer (control panels->add printer, not physically) that is capable of doing this. The ppd which we use does not allow you to print to the edge of the page, you would have to find one that does.
Just find a printer that does and install the driver for it and change the port it uses to primoport.

Hi - I also wish to produce pdfs which have an image edge to edge on A4. What does "Just find a printer that does and install the driver for it and change the port it uses to primoport" mean? Could you explain the steps please? I'm not sure what you mean.
