Black boxes on text

I used to print from PrintMaster Gold 4 using PrimoPDF, I have now upgraded to PrintMaster Silver 12 and when I print using PrimoPDF now all of the text is in white and each character has a black box around it.

How can I fix this please?

print to file using Microsoft Office Document Image Writer, then print this to PDF!!
