View Full Version : Completed installation but no PDF printer

Windows 2k Professional up-to-date

During installation -

It seemed to me that as I saw the DOS windows it looked like there were errors. If so it would have been nice if they didn't close.

I rebooted and I do not have a PDF printer.

I don't see any installation logs. Help - this looks like a great product and I would like to use it.

Hi Andy, make sure that you uninstall/reinstall while logged in as LOCAL admin. If you do not have proper permissions this could cause some problems on install in 2k.

I wonder if the Local Admin is part of my install problem - my user ID has the rights to install programs, but I don't have the code for my Local Admin log in.

This is very likely! Without admin rights it's nearly impossible to create the ports and monitor that needs to be done on the install.
