Remote Desktop and PrimoPDF
Bit of a problem, I am using Remote Desktop to (obviously) log in to a remote computer. I want to print to pdf from that remote computer to my local computer (the remote computer is using Windows 2000 so I cant carry accross local disk drives, only local printers). For some reason the PrimoPDF printer doesnt carry accross when i log in to remote desktop (all the other local printers do however). So my theory is that i need to create a local printer and tell the computer that it uses one of the LPT ports, and then redirect from that LPT port to the PrimoPDF using the "net use" command. has anyone done this before? I downloaded a generic postscript printer driver from adobe, however this doesnt carry accross to the remote desktop either (i assume because it is a custom driver, rather than part of windows). Any suggestions or insight on the issue would be massively appreciated (or if anyone knows another way to copy from the remote Windows 2000 computer to the local computer through Remote Desktop that would also be helpful).
Thanks for any help you guys can give!!! |

There's a thread in the installation forum where I have detailed some of the issues with Remote Admin.
