PrimoPDF 3.2 New Updater
With the release of PrimoPDF 3.2, a new feature was added, Updater. Updater is automatically installed and enabled with the new version of PrimoPDF. Updater will poll for new updates to PrimoPDF so that you have the latest fixes and features. In this process, it does not collect or pass any personal information, but uses only information related to PrimoPDF file versions. During installation, the options for setting the polling interval or disabling this feature are given.
After installation of Updates, the enabling or disabling, or setting of the polling inteval can be set by: 1) Browsing to the installation location of Updater Default location: C:\Program Files\activePDF\APUpdate 2) Run APUpdateClient, (for Vista, click Allow in the UAC window) 3) In dialog box, select the updating options, and click OK

Always Checks for updates
Using Vista Business, Primo 3.2
With the updater, I find that it checks for an update every single time I print a document, regardless of the setting of daily, weekly or monthly. Only way to stop it is turning off updates. I wouldn't mind, but the UAC kicks in every time I print. ![]() |

Vista 64
I was told by support that 3.2 works with Vista 64 but is see an error when it installs yet it tells me is was installed ok when I try to reinstall. When I go to print and select PrimoPDF as the printer, it appears to be printing but the prompt flash window never comes up to allow me to select the location or file name.

PrimoPDF 3 2 New Updater
The database mismatch error is normal, because you are using new files with an old database.
