Registration question??

I noticed that after I used PrimoPDF a few times, I was prompted to register. I have no problem with registering except that we are considering installing this product on a large group of users.

Is there a way to disable the registration feature for our users?

Also, are there any other surprise popups embedded in the program?

The registration screen pops up every 10th time until filled out, you can use the esc key to get rid of the screen but it will come up again when it reaches 10 more conversions (unless it is filled out the first time) After it is filled out it won't pop up again. And beyond this there is no other pop ups within the application. We do this simply to collect data for statistics, we don't release the information or use it for anything other than studying the data.

registration server error

I too, received the registration screen after using PrimoPDF for the 10th time. After filling out the form and hitting "Submit," I got a "cannot connect with the server message."

No only could I not continue, I couldn't get rid of the screen till I came to the forum and learned I could hit the ESC key to get out.

Would be happy to register, but at this time, I can't. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

well, it should just take the info, try and submit it then gracefully stop bothering you. Even if it does not connect.

Send me an email and I will provide you with another way around it for this instance.

Registration

Thanks for the reply, Douglas. If it pops up again and I can't get it to connect, I'll contact you.

Can not connect to server

I also filled out the registration information and got the "Cannot connect to the server" message. I have deployed this on approximately 15 stations in our corporation so far and plan on deploying it to about 50 more. However, I get this same message on every system. The ESC works, but I don't want the users to have to hit the ESC key every tenth time they go to use the software. Is there some other way I can fill out this information? Is there a way to do it during installation so that the end user does not have to deal with it at all?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Mike

All inquiries of this matter will have to be discussed with me via email. There are instances where we can direct some action around the registration, although we do not wish to make it commonplace.

****o I too have this issue (30 users) but I am unable to send e-mail to Mr.Saltsman or the Webmaster? I have no problem registering once and telling you how many users we have.

How can I get this work-around?

Thanks!

Us too.

I'm experiencing the same issue with some of the users at our company where it's saying it can't connect to the server when trying to register. Please advise.
