Educational Licensing
Hi,
I know your license states that individuals must install PrimoPDF on their computers in a work environment, and that if we need MSI support we could purchase an enterprise copy. But at the junior high school that I'm an IT tech at we deploy Norton Ghost images in our computer labs to install software. Would it be acceptable to have PrimoPDF installed on our lab and teacher computers via an image file created within Norton Ghost? The initial imaged computer would have PrimoPDF installed manually and then that image would be replicated to other computers. Thank you for your time, Danny |

The requirement of the EULA is for individual installation and agreement to the license. The installation of PrimoPDF, then the cloning of the system bypasses the individual reading and agreeing to the license. So unfortunately this would not fall under the terms of the EULA.
If you needed to function this way using ghost images you could do so with the purchase of the Enterprise edition which would be based on the organization level and would not require individual agreement by each user. |
