When you go to print via PrimoPDF, it gives you the option of changing the output setting either for screen or for print. I have done some testing and I have not been able to tell a difference between these two options. The files sizes are exactly the same and the print quality is the same as well. I assumed that the for screen setting it would produce a smaller file size for quicker on screen viewing. Is this a wrong assumption? I am just curious about the difference between these two settings.

The difference will be when you are generating PDF's with hi resolution images in them. "Screen" downsamples the images to 72 DPI while "Printer" downsamples or keeps them at 300 DPI.
If you are just generating text then there will typically be no difference. You can, however, go into the printer settings for the PrimoPDF printer and lower the resolution as well....doing so should result in a smaller file. PrimoPDF does not modify the printer settings...it is just taking the Postscript as generated by the printer driver and converting it to PDF.
I'm glad the new installer worked for you...Windows 98 was a treat :-)
