no prompt
Is there a way to tell the driver to always save the pdf to a certain name and location, without prompting the user for information?

No, unfortunately there is not. However, depending on the type of feedback we get here I'll look into adding a wishlist to the forum here and perhaps we'll expand the capabilities. Although at this time there is no plan for this to occur.

I too would like to add a vote for a setting to determine the save location of a generated PDF. Also an option to turn off automatic viewing would be very helpful.
Thanks, Brad ![]() |

I too would like to add a vote for a setting option.
Which enables you to specify the location of the PDF and Name. |

We hear you on the file naming request, but PrimoPDF is designed to be a "standalone" PDF writer, not integrated as part of an application.
There are certain AFPL licensing implications and concerns that give us pause to provide this functionality and as such we have no plans to do so at this time. You are welcome to download the PrimoPDF and AFPL Ghostscript source code and perform your own integration. Your application, however, will then be governed by the AFPL as well. We will, however, look into the "don't launch the viewer" option at a later date. Thank you, Tim Sullivan activePDF, Inc. |
